Our financial services clients are presently recruiting a Business Development Manager. You will drive growth within the SME Finance and mortgage markets, building strong community and stakeholder relationships while ensuring the organization remains a key provider of lending services. This role combines business development, strategic planning, and loan underwriting responsibilities. Location of employment is at either their offices in Tralee town or other office locations around Kerry. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a Business Development Plan for SME and mortgage markets aligned with strategic objectives. Identify lending gaps and execute strategies to capture opportunities. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of SME and mortgage prospects. Collaborate with Marketing to deliver campaigns that enhance brand visibility and lending growth. Represent the organization at networking events and community engagements. Underwrite personal loans, mortgages, and SME lending applications in compliance with credit policies. Advise internal teams on lending products and business development best practices. Prepare reports on pipeline activity, loan performance, and market trends. Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including AML and CTF obligations. Requirements: Degree in Business or Finance preferred; QFA or CUA designation. Minimum 5 years experience in financial services business development, with SME and mortgage exposure. Strong credit underwriting knowledge, networking, analytical, and leadership skills. Full driving license and flexibility for out-of-hours events This is a permanent, full-time position. Salary is open to negotiation and in the region of € 45 60,000 plus 24 days Annual leave, 7.5% Employer and 5% Employee pension contributions along with other perks.
