Equipment Maintenance Technician – New Health Care Company
Job Description
Supporting production equipment in a medical device healthcare environment
Repairing and troubleshooting automated electro/mechanical equipment failures
Schedule and perform preventative maintenance procedures through PEMAC
Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation
Work proactively to ensure production performance targets are met
Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices & Good Documentation Practices are followed
Support Engineering projects and lead actions assigned to the maintenance group
Focus on Continuous Improvement projects to drive improvements in OEE
Your Skills and Expertise
Minimum qualifications
Cert./Diploma/Senior Trades in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years experience in a similar technical role within the medical device or similar industry
Mechanical experience within an automated manufacturing environment
Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills and analytical methodologies
Flexibility to work different Shift Patterns as the business requires
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed further in this role
Working knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, pneumatic and hydraulic components
Demonstrate a high level of technical ability
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong teamwork abilities – foster a collaborative culture

Remuneration
Salary – € high-reaching dependent on skills and experience plus excellent benefits package
Shift Allowance – 25% (12‑hour x 3 cycle shift patterns 7am‑7pm/7pm‑7am)
