Position: Person in Charge – Residential & Respite Services
Location: Tipperary Town
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (Monday to Friday)

Overview:
Cpl Healthcare is currently recruiting for an experienced and committed Person in Charge (PIC) to manage Residential and Respite Services for adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. The service supports independent living, community integration, and personal development through residential, respite, and day programs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of the Designated Centre in accordance with HIQA standards and the Health Act .
2. Lead and manage the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care services.
3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legislative, and policy requirements.
4. Promote staff development and maintain a strong culture of safety, dignity, and respect.
5. Collaborate with the Integrated Services Manager and multidisciplinary teams.
Essential Requirements:
6. QQI Level 8 Honours Degree in Social Care, Nursing, or equivalent.
7. Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in intellectual disability services.
8. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management/leadership role in healthcare.
9. Thorough knowledge of HIQA Standards, Health Act Regulations, and disability sector policies.
10. Full, clean Irish driving licence.
11. Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Desirable:
12. Recognised management qualification or currently pursuing one.
