Job Description
* Responsible for completing a range of Planned Preventive Maintenance Tasks and Inspections. You will be required to complete daily, weekly, monthly, and 6-monthly PPM tasks adhering to SFG20 requirements. Completing and documenting check sheets and reports for each PPM task, including daily and weekly system checks.
* Maintain all electrical and mechanical plant services to industry standards.
* Extensive knowledge of single and three-phase fault finding and first-time fixes.
* Conduct electrical repairs and minor works on various industrial, logistics, and commercial properties.
* Assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks.
* Liaise with the helpdesk for planned and routine maintenance programs and reporting procedures.
* Work according to recognized industry standards at all times.
* Maintain records of all work and ensure paperwork is completed and submitted within the defined timescales.
* Participate in flexible working hours, which may include occasional overnight stays, weekend work, and participation in the ‘On Call Rota’ as required.
* Undertake training to perform the role’s duties, including health and safety courses and further trade development to maintain current knowledge and professional qualifications (CPD).
* Act on own initiative.
* Must pass an enhanced DBS disclosure.
* Have experience with 3-phase motors and PLCs.
* Oversee contractor activities, ensuring compliance with risk assessments, method statements, and QHSE permitting.
* Schedule subcontractor visits and ensure adherence to client security protocols.
* Possess technical knowledge of critical environments power, production line assemblies, H&V systems, public address systems, fire alarm works, and emergency lighting.
* Identify part replacements and obtain quotations for condition maintenance plans.
* Ensure statutory engineering maintenance documentation is maintained and accessible.
* Oversee completion of PPMs and client service requests in line with SLAs.
* Ensure compliance with audit requirements and review site SOPs, ERAs, and scenario training.
* Adhere to King & Moffat QHSE procedures and implement improvements identified during inspections.
* Participate in technical training, including competency assessments and scenario exercises.
* Compile RAMS for all projects and ensure adherence to RAMS and task-specific SPAs.
* Promote a positive health, safety, quality, and environmental culture across the project.
* Conduct site inspections.
* Report on EHSQ performance of project teams and subcontractors, making recommendations for safe working conditions to the EHSQ Manager.
* Review all EHSQ-related documentation submitted by contractors and subcontractors.
* Collect accident statistics and undertake trend analysis if relevant.
* Work flexibly with the client in service delivery.
Qualifications
* Qualified Electrician (Level 6)
* Maintenance, electrical, or related work experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Proven ability to multi-task
* Flexibility to move between projects
* Full Driving Licence
* IOSH or CSR Card
