Your new company is a leading building and civil engineering contractor working across several industries. They are currently looking for a Senior HR Coordinator to join their team.
Your new role
In this role, you will support the HR team. This is a fully office-based role.
Your responsibilities
1. Partner with business leaders to understand business strategies and align HR solutions to support those goals.
2. Deliver high-quality, efficient HR services to all employees.
3. Handle pre-onboarding activities such as work permits, relocation assistance, and managing employee files.
4. Manage offboarding processes including resignation letters, return of company equipment, and exit interviews.
5. Generate and distribute accurate employee contracts and documentation in a timely manner.
6. Manage the return of employee contracts and documentation, ensuring proper closure.
7. Handle HR issues, providing practical advice and escalating when necessary.
8. Maintain the HR system accurately and in a timely fashion.
9. Meet deadlines for payroll and other critical HR processes.
10. Lead and participate in HR and site projects.
11. Manage general HR/ER queries, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
12. Support the site management team in performance management processes.
13. Monitor and manage absence records, liaising with supervisors/HR managers as appropriate.
14. Support the Health & Wellbeing strategy, including Employee Assistance Programmes and new initiatives.
15. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional support such as payroll, graduate programs, and recruitment.
What you'll need to succeed
* 3+ years of experience in an HR role.
* Experience with HR software is a plus.
* Collaborative problem-solving approach.
