Construction Management Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to lead our upcoming pharmaceutical project in Longford. With a strong pipeline of high-profile projects across Longford and Leinster, this full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement.
This is a dynamic and fast-paced position that requires the ability to thrive in a challenging environment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 5-7 years of post-qualification experience preferably in residential or similar projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site setting out activities, surveying completed works, and producing as-built records. They will also prepare drawing packages for ground-workers, establish and monitor datum levels, and perform daily safety inspections.
The Construction Manager will assist the Senior Engineer in quality inspections aligned with the Project Inspection Plan (PIP), logging results in BIM 360. They will maintain waste management records, complete SR21 documentation, and conduct concrete testing and cube results.

* Conduct essential site setting out activities.
* Survey completed works and produce as-built records, ensuring compliance with tolerance standards.
* Prepare drawing packages for block-layers and ground-workers, outlining designated service spaces.
* Establish and monitor datum levels for ground-workers.
* Perform daily safety inspections, document findings, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
* Assist the Senior Engineer in quality inspections aligned with the Project Inspection Plan (PIP), logging results in BIM 360.
* Maintain waste management records, including haulage logs, as per the Waste Management Plan.
* Complete SR21 documentation in line with the SR21 Method Statement.
* Conduct and record concrete testing and cube results, following the method statement and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
* Sample and test stones and blocks in accordance with the ITP.
* Maintain weekly statutory health and safety records.
* Perform as-built surveys for constructed structures and underground utilities.
* Maintain a detailed daily site diary, including weather, site conditions, visitor logs, deliveries, and daily meeting notes.
* Lead daily site inductions when senior management is unavailable.
* Take minutes during weekly site meetings.
* Record and submit delivery dockets to the head office weekly.
Requirements
* Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
* 5–7 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in residential or similar projects.
* Strong knowledge of quality assurance (QA) practices in construction.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Enthusiasm to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.
