Role: Warehouse Operative Salary: €28,000-€32,000 Duration: Contract Location: Dublin North Hours: Monday-Friday Warehouse Operative Well-established logistics company based in North Dublin is currently seeking a dependable Warehouse Operative to join its expanding team.
This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity offering weekly pay and the potential for a permanent position.
To be considered you must hold valid reach truck and counterbalance forklift certifications, along with a full EU B drivers license due to occasional delivery duties.
As a member of the warehouse team, you will be involved in the day-to-day operations that keep the facility running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include unloading deliveries, replenishing stock, and transferring goods throughout the warehouse using forklifts.
You will also assist with general tasks such as picking items, packing orders for dispatch, and supporting the outbound team to ensure all shipments are accurate and timely.
From time to time, you may be required to deliver goods to various branches and customers across the Dublin area.
Whether working on-site or out on the road, you will be expected to represent the company professionally and uphold its high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities: Operate the counterbalance and reach forklifts to move, load, and unload goods throughout the warehouse.
Pick and prepare customer orders accurately using RF scanning equipment to ensure timely dispatch.
Adhere strictly to all company health and safety procedures, always maintaining a safe working environment.
Perform routine safety checks on forklift equipment and promptly report any faults to management.
Support general warehouse operations, including tasks in both inbound and outbound departments as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas to promote operational efficiency.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and resolve workflow issues.
Requirements: Proven experience operating reach and counterbalance forklifts, along with necessary certifications.
Valid B drivers license required.
Manual handling certificate preferred.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Proven experience working in a warehouse environment.
Strong eye for detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
