You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through manual and automated testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both business and user requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and/or mobile applicationsPerform manual and automated testing including functional, regression, integration, and system testingIdentify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g. Jira)Collaborate closely with software developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLCParticipate in requirements analysis and design reviews to provide early QA inputDevelop and maintain automated test frameworks where applicableSupport UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and release validationEnsure compliance with quality standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements (where applicable)Continuously improve QA processes and testing efficiencyRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experienceProven experience as a QA Engineer / Software TesterStrong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processesExperience with manual testing and test case designFamiliarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similarExperience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail)Basic knowledge of SQL and APIs (REST) is an advantageStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills in EnglishNice to HaveExperience working in Agile / Scrum environmentsCI/CD pipeline experience (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)Performance or security testing experienceISTQB certification or similarExperience testing cloud-based applications (AWS / Azure / GCP)Right to WorkCandidates must have the legal right to work in Ireland (Stamp 1 / Stamp 4 / EU citizenship).
