Arboretum Kilquade, our second store opened in 2015 on the National Garden Exhibition Centre site, has undergone a transformative makeover. The revamped store boasts a cutting-edge design, featuring a wide array of indoor plants, a food hall, a fashion boutique, and a health and wellness department. Rachel's Secret Garden Café, a beloved spot, accommodates 100 diners overlooking the 17 exhibition gardens. The entire retail and plant area is roofed, ensuring a delightful shopping experience year-round.
We are thrilled to announce opportunities for Kitchen Porters to join our team. We invite you to be a part of our journey at Arboretum Kilquade.
Responsibilities
* Keep all kitchen work surfaces (counters, sinks, stoves, walls) clean and sanitized
* Sweep and mop at the beginning, during and ending of each shift.
* Clean up spills as needed to avoid hindering of operation
* Wash cookware, utensils and cutlery to keep them in rotation
* Arrange equipment and ingredient deliveries
* Keep the food and supply storage areas clean and organised
* Take out the bins and Cardboard as required
* Help with routine food prep tasks when needed.
Requirements
* Certification in food safety and hygiene standards
* Minimum 1 years' experience as a Kitchen Porter in a reputable establishment.
