Global Asset Manager Seeks Fund Operations Associate
About the Role
We're a leading asset manager seeking a Fund Operations Associate to support our Fund Operations/Finance team. This team oversees the financial reporting of multiple credit fund strategies and their limited partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare financial statements and investment returns for funds and separate accounts.
* Assist in preparing and reviewing investor communications, including capital activity and quarterly reports.
* Support fund cash/liquidity management and vendor payments.
* Collaborate with auditors to meet reporting deadlines.
* Manage ad hoc initiatives, e.g., share issuance notices.
* Report dividends to limited partnerships.
* Support VAT and other tax filings.
* Build relationships with external Fund Administration.
* Work with a global team based in Chicago, Newark, and Ireland.
Requirements
* Experience in fund administration, accounting, tax, or operations within financial services.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
* Positive attitude, energy, and optimism.
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with financial statement preparation and accounting standards is a plus.
Differentiators
* Experience with Wall Street Office or Allvue (formerly Black Mountain).
* Exposure to Direct Lending and private credit funds.
