Orthopaedic Clinical Support Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Orthopaedic Clinical Support Specialist in Kilkenny. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the hospital theatre environment and be able to provide technical advice and training on the safe and effective use of medical devices.
The role involves providing customers with technical guidance and training on the safe and effective use of medical devices and surgical techniques, primarily in a theatre setting. This includes engaging with existing and new surgeons to develop a robust sales opportunity pipeline and advising on appropriate sales leads.
In addition to customer-facing activities, the Clinical Support Specialist will also support the development of product and procedure knowledge with the sales team. This may involve teaching in a theatre setting, classroom teaching, or involvement in our Induction Training Programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide customers with technical advice and training on the safe and effective use of medical devices and surgical techniques, primarily in a theatre setting.
* Engage with both existing and new surgeons to develop a robust sales opportunity pipeline and advise on appropriate sales leads.
* Support customers with activities relating to the management of stock and equipment, including consignment inventory, loan kits, ordering patterns.
* Maintain up-to-date records of customer activity on our CRM system, including information on customer usage, purchasing protocols, and relevant competitor activity.
Requirements:
* 2-3 Years Min. Surgical / Theatre experience in Orthopaedics Surgery (Scrub Nurse).
* Full Clean Driving License.
* I am also willing to consider Hospital-based Physio's with good Ortho Surgical knowledge.
