Job Title: Health Promotion & Improvement Officer
The role of the Health Promotion & Improvement Officer is to work with local health and wellbeing teams to ensure delivery of national operational plans.
* Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist in implementing Healthy Ireland Implementation Plans for community and hospital groups, focusing on supporting Community Health Networks within Integrated Health Areas.
• Develop training models, engage in external partnerships, and promote staff health and wellbeing initiatives. Provide expert support as a specialist or lead responsibility for key projects under overall team supervision. In this capacity, you will be responsible for advancing key objectives aligned with national policy at local levels through collaborative efforts with the multidisciplinary team.
Key Skills Required
Health Promotion - Have experience working in a healthcare setting enhancing public knowledge about healthy practices.
