BEFORE YOU APPLY: Please read the compensation information at the bottom of the pageWe are currently looking for a Music Production Coordinator who can oversee the production process of our music department involved with our albums, EPs, films, games and overall musical projects, spanning composers, musicians, sound-engineers, and musical editors. This is mainly a coordinating as opposed to a creative role. More below.ABOUT THE COMPANYWe are creating films, games, and comics - stories with soul - for our own fantasy universe (think Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, etc., but smaller - for now hehe). We started 4 years ago as a small team of folks who were initially supposed to package a TV show. Finding ourselves unable to give away our IP, we decided to build out the universe ourselves to retain (creative) control. Now, 4 years later, our rag-tag band of pirates has grown to over 150 members (far over 200 depending on how you count). Our current slate includes 3 short films (2 in active development, 1 in post production, 30min each), a comic book series (9 issues of Season 1, 40+ pages/issue), and two games (one Card Game online and offline version featuring our characters and factions, and one TTRPG with oneshots, campaign rules and region expansions). We also produce fantastic music, Shopify-sold merchandise, handcrafted art, documentaries about the making of Soul Atlas, Lore Videos, and Shorts. We have been working on getting greenlight, production up, worldbuilding ready, and marketing infrastructure set up. Now our task is mostly about improving the existing processes and bringing us into our first launches with financial implications (thus far, we took on some investment but have not made revenue yet - you first have to make a film to make box office).YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESWe are looking for a soft-skilled team player who can take charge to make things happen. Responsibilities below may be seasonal and do not necessarily occur together in any given week.Support our team of composers, making sure that they have everything they need to perform at their very bestKeep the individual composers and the general-chat on track: Develop timelines with the composers, set up meetings, help them stick to the timelines. Make sure the department becomes truly disciplined and dependableLiaise with producers from games, films, comics, and overall production coordination to make sure you receive and hand out all dependencies as they relate to the music department - we tackle projects which include other departments, f.e. world building. A tight connection to them shall ensure steady progress.Streamline the composition and production process by installing company standards for delivery, organisation, documentation, etc., taking different departments' needs into account. Of course, our team members will be there to support you
