ESG Reporting Test Manager 6-9 Month Assignment.
- 3 days a week onsite in Swords.
In order to meet mandated and business ESG reporting requirements need tocentralise our ESG data from various sources, implementing a system to support completion of disclosures and output the reporting requirements.
The company has contracted with a System Implementation partner who will work with the Business and Technology team to: Configure the system to meet business requirements Integrate the platform with where required.
There will be a large number of these integrations.
Configure the required report outputs.
The company has selected Oracle EPM ESG in order to meet these requirements as the ESG reporting module can facilitate this directive.
The ESG module of Oracle EPM application allows for mandated reporting outputs as well as allowing the data to be collated from multiple sources to enable other reporting requirements.
The objective of project is to design, build, test and deploy the ESG platform and all required integrations.
A critical role in ensuring the success of this implementation will be the Test Manager.
Working within the Project team and reporting into the Project Manager, the Test Manager will ensure timely execution of all project test activity.
The role will work with many areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities Understand the test effort by analysing functional and non-functional requirements Attend implementation workshops, planning and project meetings as required Identify and call out where additional training or other support is required to optimize the testing approach and execution.
Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and resources required to mitigate the risk to system quality Responsible for overall creation, review, and obtaining sign-off of the Test Script documents, in conjunction with business SMEs and Project Manager Identify, document, and arrange hardware and software requirements in preparation for test execution.
Ensure the content and structure of Testing artifacts are documented and maintained within Dev Ops/Jira.
Track and ensure testing of any new requirements/change requests that arise during the project.
Coordinate test execution, ensuring each workstream has resources and is progressing; as necessary, proactively work with all relevant stakeholders to clear blockers to test execution or identify and agree on acceptable workarounds to enable execution to continue; escalating to Program Manager as required.
Organize and chair test status meetings and issue test status reports (Daily, Weekly, etc.) Act as the primary point of contact between the program team and business owners for testing and defect management Track and prepare the report of testing activities such as test results, test coverage, required resources, defects identified and their status, re-test activities all in accordance with best practices Ensure the timely delivery of testing milestones.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience A minimum of 8 years software testing experience on complex IT projects, and a minimum of 3+ years experience as a Test Manager, ideally using Dev Ops/Jiraor similar Demonstrated communication and organisational skills, decision making skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organisation, proactively address issues and work collaboratively to reach a solution that does not compromise quality Clearly demonstrates a thorough understanding of test methodologies, manual and automated testing in accordance with best practice testing standards Experience of system implementations with complex data integrations is essential Experience of testing ESG reporting solutions in Oracle EPM is an advantage Some activities may specifically require an on-site presence e.g.
requirements workshops and or test planning workshops.
These will be planned and agreed in advance.
