Job Description
The Role of Duty Manager is crucial to the success of our store in Tralee.
This role involves delivering, maximising and exceeding sales targets in-store, while maintaining the availability of all products.
* Ensure that customer purchases are carried out in accordance with Company guidelines.
* Deal with customer queries promptly and effectively.
* Maintain company standards on housekeeping, floor presentation and space planning.
* Participate in weekly stock takes - identify and report abnormal counts to the Store Manager.
* Manage staffing levels to match business needs or events in-store.
* Prepare, monitor and action daily task board.
* Drive the team's knowledge of Top Sellers and Department Stock Loss.
* Assist the Store Manager with staffing issues, such as training and performance reviews.
* Perform cash handling and security duties, including daily spot checks on all tills.
* Adhere to company cash/stock handling procedures at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Opening and closing the store, ensuring a secure and well-presented environment.
2. Managing the sales floor and visual merchandising, including stock replenishment and facing.
3. Leading by example, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and providing coaching to colleagues.
4. Maintaining accurate records, including sales data and stock movements.
5. Coordinating visual displays and promotions, collaborating with the Visual Merchandising Team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A proven track record as a Retail Manager in a fast-paced retail environment.
* Demonstrable operational, leadership, planning, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Target-driven and customer-service orientated, with the ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills, with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and presentations.
