We are partnering with a leading construction company to recruit an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their project teams in the western region. Role Overview
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will provide technical oversight and site management support across multiple projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Contracts Manager to ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and in line with project specifications and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the planning, organisation, and delivery of projects on site
* Supervise site activities, including workforce, subcontractors, and materials
* Coordinate with design teams, engineers, and technical assessors to ensure works meet specifications
* Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with Health & Safety standards
* Prepare detailed site reports and documentation for senior management
* Identify risks and implement solutions to maintain programme and budget
* Promote continuous improvement and technical excellence across the site team
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a site engineering role within large-scale construction projects
* Strong technical knowledge of residential construction methods, site supervision, and project delivery
* 3rd level qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Competent in project reporting, scheduling, and site documentation
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements on Irish construction sites
* Full Irish driving licence
* Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities
