We are currently recruiting Staff Nurses for Nursing Homes in Dublin Responsibilities Ensure all residents are treated with dignity, privacy, and respect, and are supported as individuals at all times.
Understand the Named Nurse concept, its purpose and implementation, and ensure all related documentation is accurately maintained.
Develop meaningful and professional relationships with residents, relatives, and visitors, providing appropriate support and comfort, particularly to bereaved families.
Ensure that all Healthcare policies and procedures are understood and adhered to by all staff.
Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date records in accordance with relevant legislation and Healthcare standards.
Ensure compliance with agreed policies and procedures relating to the safe control, administration, and custody of all medications.
Demonstrate knowledge and awareness of HIQA standards and actively participate in the inspection and regulatory process.
Ensure all admissions to the home are carried out correctly, with all required documentation completed in a timely manner.
Liaise effectively with healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams regarding residents' discharge to the community to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements First level registration.
Registered on the live register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to motivate self and others and to work effectively on own initiative.
Proven ability to work collaboratively and promote a positive team environment.
