Applications are invited for the position of Clinical Skills Training Lead (CNM2) who will have responsibility for Clinical Skills Training and Development Clinical Skills Training Lead (CNM2) Permanent - Part Time- 18.75 hours x 2 posts (Ref No: RESPITTRA01) The successful candidates will have/be: Registered Nurse with active registration (e.g.
with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) preferably RNID Qualification in education, training, or practice development is desirable At least 5 years post registration experience, with specific experience working with people with intellectual disability.
Experience in intellectual disability, community, or complex care settings Be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of models of care and best practice in the field of intellectual disability Demonstrated experience in clinical education, training, or practice development Strong knowledge of clinical governance and patient safety principles Excellent communication, leadership, and facilitation skills Strong clinical, managerial and administrative skills evident in previous roles and the ability to transfer these skills to a new setting Demonstrate evidence of continued commitment to professional development and implement new skills/knowledge to benefit the service Excellent communication skills across a range of disciplines Excellent knowledge and understanding of relevant Health Act Regulations, HIQA standards and all other relevant legislation and best practice, and how to implement these in practice.
Knowledge of a Time to Move On from Congregated Settings report - 2011 Knowledge of New Directions report Full clean driving licence with access to own vehicle is essential Demonstrative experience of planning projects, strong organisational skills, innovation and effective communication.
