Valeo puts you right at the heart of our technology development, delivering on real-time projects, where you will grow and thrive working on advanced technologies for greener, safer and smarter mobility.**Responsibilities:*** Supporting the Purchasing Manager in day-to-day operations.* Identify the key suppliers in our panel that best fit our projects needs.* Assisting in organizing supplier information and documentation.* Preparation of reports, presentations and minutes of meetings.* Together with Engineering, complete roadmap\design reviews with the suppliers to specify the appropriate component\services.* Participating in projects related to purchasing processes improvement.* Providing support for supplier negotiation process.* RFQ and negotiate using all available tools(including auction as appropriate) market leading commercial conditions.* Maintaining relationships with internal departments (R&D, Production) and external partners (suppliers).* Analysis of market trends and competitor activities.* Monitoring supplier performance and conducting regular follow-ups.* Keeping track of new technologies and innovative solutions in the field of purchasing.* Report on the status and performance of the project on a monthly basis.**Requirements:*** Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar.* Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.* Proficient computer skills (Google Suite).* Good organization and prioritization abilities.* Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Negotiation and commercial awareness.* Team player mentality with proactive approach.* Willingness to learn and develop within the company.* Experience in office software (Google suite, Microsoft Office).**Job:**Purchasing Trainee/Apprentice/VIE**Organization:**Projects**Schedule:**Full time**Employee Status:**Fixed Term (Fixed Term)**Job Type:**Graduate**Job Posting Date:**2026-05-06*Join Us !
