Project Oversight
The successful candidate will lead teams to deliver complex civil works. Based in County Kerry, the project leader will play a pivotal role in the execution of energy infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Health and Safety Leadership: Champion Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental excellence across all phases of the project.
Team Management: Provide leadership and technical guidance to engineers, operatives, and subcontractors. Foster a collaborative team culture.
Project Delivery: Plan and manage civil works to meet programme milestones. Align with strategic energy goals.
Drive Results: Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including budget control, resource management, design coordination, and contract administration.
Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, utility providers, and public stakeholders.
Sustainability Focus: Align procurement and delivery strategies with environmental objectives.
Ensure Compliance: Oversee licensing, permitting, and public works contract requirements with precision.
Continuous Improvement: Report regularly on progress and contribute to a culture of learning and innovation.
Requirements:
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Chartered or working towards chartership with Engineers Ireland.
5+ years' experience in a Project Manager role—ideally in energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure.
Deep knowledge of Irish construction regulations, public procurement frameworks, and energy-sector delivery models.
Proven leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
A proactive approach to project delivery.
