Pig Farm Production Manager – County Cavan, Ireland - €50,000 + Accommodation
The Job
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day management of a 1,300-sow pig unit, ensuring efficient production, high welfare standards, and strong team leadership. Responsibilities include managing the full production cycle, maintaining herd health, optimising performance, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with animal welfare and environmental regulations.

The Candidate
* Proven experience in pig farming management or supervisory roles
* Strong operational knowledge of pig production systems, herd health, breeding, and nutrition
* Degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Committed to maintaining high welfare standards and best practice farming
* Proactive, motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure
* Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends

* Salary €45,000–€50,000 per annum DOE
