About the Company
Our client is a leading, Tier-1 mechanical contracting firm specialised in large-scale new build residential and commercial construction projects. With a reputation built on excellence and reliability, operating on high-profile sites across all four provinces of Ireland.
Due to a rapidly expanding project pipeline, we are seeking numbers of dedicated and highly skilled Plumbers to join their field operations team.
The Role
This is a fast-paced role suited for a professional who thrives on the energy of a construction site. You will be responsible for the full-cycle installation of plumbing systems in brand-new developments, ensuring all work meets Irish building regulations and our own rigorous quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* First & Second Fixing: Installation of pipework, heating systems, and sanitary ware in new build environments.
* Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and following detailed mechanical drawings and site plans.
* System Testing: Carrying out pressure tests and commissioning systems to ensure zero-defect handovers.
* Compliance: Ensuring all work adheres to Health & Safety regulations and RGI/ OFTEC standards where applicable.
* Site Coordination: Working efficiently alongside other trades (electricians, carpenters, and site managers) to meet strict project deadlines.
Requirements
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years' post-apprenticeship experience, specifically within new build construction sites.
* Certification: Fully qualified Plumber (FETAC/QQI Level 5 or equivalent).
* Skills: Ability to work under pressure and hit "move-in" deadlines without compromising on quality.
* Documentation: Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates.
* Driving: A full, clean Irish/EU driving license is highly preferred.
* Status: Must have a valid visa/right to work in Ireland.
