We are seeking a motivated and committed Staff Grade Physiotherapistto join the Physiotherapy Department at an acute setting in Mullingar.For a complete understanding of this opportunity, and what will be required to be a successful applicant, read on.This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a busy acute hospital environment, providing high-quality, patient-centred physiotherapy care across a range of clinical specialties.Key Responsibilities of the Physiotherapist: Provide physiotherapy assessment and intervention to inpatients and/or outpatients in line with hospital clinical pathways.Manage a varied caseload across areas such as medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, care of the older person, and rehabilitation.Support early mobilisation, discharge planning, and safe transition from hospital to home or onward care settings.Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team including medical, nursing, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and social work colleagues.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital, HSE, and CORU standards.Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.Requirements for the Physiotherapist: Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.CORU registration (mandatory).Ability to manage a clinical caseload effectively within an acute hospital setting.Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.Desirable Experience Previous experience in an acute hospital setting.Experience in areas such as orthopaedics, medical, surgical, or geriatric care.Experience with discharge planning and multidisciplinary teamwork.Why Join?
