The Registered General Nurse in Theatre will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period (before, during, and after surgery in Recovery). This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the surgical and anaesthetic team.
Positions available in the following:
* Main Theatre
* Ophthalmology
* Day Procedure Unit
Essential Criteria:
·Registered on the NMBI live register.
·Have a minimum of 1-2 years post registration experience in acute care.
·Previous nursing experience for specialised areas is required. Please clearly indicate your experience on your CV.
Desirable
·Post graduate qualification or relevant educational course.
·Experience with an Electronic Health Record.
Skills / Attributes:
·A relevant Staff Nurse Theatre Qualification OR Experience working in the areas of specialistaion
·Ability to work as part of a team providing a quality service
·Personally and professionally accountable for patient care
·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·Flexible approach to work patterns
Salary: €36,919 - €54,928
