We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor to join our clients construction team in Dublin. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation, with a strong focus on MEP works and PSCS responsibilities.
This role is based in Dublin and requires a Full Clean Drivers Licence!
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and maintenance of the site EHS management system
Ensure full compliance with current health & safety legislation and company policies
Assist and support the PSCS in fulfilling statutory duties on site
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, particularly across MEP activities
Identify hazards and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented
Monitor subcontractor compliance with site safety requirements
Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks
Maintain accurate EHS documentation, reports, and records
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions
Promote a positive safety culture across all site personnel
Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies as required
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an EHS role within the construction industry
Proven experience working on MEP heavy construction projects
Strong understanding of PSCS duties and Irish construction safety regulations
Relevant EHS qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent)
Excellent knowledge of risk assessment and method statements (RAMS)
