Cleaner required for a school in BalbrigganFrom Monday to Friday 3pm -6pm. 15 hrs per weekPurpose of the RoleTo undertake daily cleaning of the school in line with Health & Safety Standards. The cleaner will work within a team to ensure that the school is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness.Job DescriptionThe following are key areas of responsibility for the cleaner:Undertake general cleaning of all school, including classrooms, offices, floors, corridors, stairwells and toilets, etc.Vacuuming, dusting and washing floors and wallsSweeping, floor polishing and waste disposalWash windows, walls and ceilingsDust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furnitureClean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliancesEnsuring the toilet facilities are kept clean and supplies are replenished when requiredOrganised necessary supplies for cleaning toilet facilitiesClean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showersDisinfect building using fogging machineInform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposesUndertake any other duties as requestedWe are happy to hear from anyone with specialist skills in any of these areas.Requirements:A can do attitudeExperience of a similar roleA good working knowledge of EnglishA knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practicesA knowledge of how to use equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.Job Type: Part-timePay: €14.10 per hourExpected hours: 15 per weekWork Location: In person
