Roamr helps companies save 30% on hotel spend by paying employees to stay with friends instead. When traveling for work, travelers can stay with a friend, and Roamr redistributes the hotel spend. For example, 2 nights in NYC for a conference costing $1,000 on hotels → Company pays Roamr $700, saving $300. Roamr returns $300 to the traveler and $300 to their friend hosting. It creates a win‑win‑win.
The Brand Opportunity
Corporate travel branding has not evolved in 30 years. The industry still speaks to a briefcase-and-suit traveler who largely does not exist. The actual workforce—millennials and Gen Z—are sharing‑economy natives, yet no corporate travel brand speaks to them. Roamr offers a unique brand story: both employer and employee win, with no trade‑off.
The Role
You will define the balance and sequencing between two growth motions: B2B enterprise adoption across Finance, Travel, People, and Sales, and a PLG engine that drives bottom‑up adoption and fuels enterprise expansion.
Responsibilities
Build the marketing function from the ground up with full autonomy and ownership.
Define Roamr’s brand positioning and voice at scale.
Create high‑impact content across organic, editorial, and social formats that earn attention.
Drive paid acquisition across Meta, LinkedIn, and emerging channels, scaling what works through rapid experimentation.
Build the PLG motion, converting individual usage into company‑wide adoption.
Develop a repeatable B2B demand generation engine from early foundations.
Amplify brand presence through trade shows, press, and existing recognition.
Hire and scale the team as channel success and priorities become clear.
Qualifications
Thrives in chaos and is excited by change as the only constant.
Context‑switches easily and operates with full autonomy.
Moves fast, shipping something good today over something perfect next month.
Has an appetite for planting a flag mid‑career and demonstrably drove growth for a product or created a PLG motion.
Is not only playing with AI but is on the frontier of how work is changing.
Has built playbooks from scratch or worked in a startup moving to success; may include former founder or early‑stage experience.
