About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Program Delivery Lead to join our innovative medical device company at the forefront of interventional cardiology.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a cutting-edge product development program through clinical and regulatory pathways to commercialisation. As Program Delivery Lead, you will play a key role in driving a novel cardiac support device through development, working cross-functionally with engineering, clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams.
\
The position is based in Galway and offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and agile environment, contributing directly to the success of a pioneering technology in the cardiovascular space.

Key Responsibilities:
\

* Lead the execution of the full product development program from concept to manufacturing and scale-up in a regulated environment.
\
* Establish and manage robust project plans and timelines; ensure program delivery on time and within budget.
\
* Implement structured engineering review processes to minimise design risks.
\
* Coordinate workstream activities and ensure prioritisation of critical path tasks.
\
* Communicate clearly with all internal and external stakeholders regarding project progress and risks.
\
* Anticipate potential issues and develop effective mitigation strategies.
\
* Oversee program budgets and resource planning.
\
* Collaborate with functional leaders to support team development and recruitment.
\
* Contribute to the implementation of a quality system aligned with ISO and regulatory standards.
\
* Promote innovation and support IP generation to protect novel developments.
\
\
Candidate Profile:
\
To succeed as our Program Delivery Lead, you will have:
\
\
* A Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
\
* Minimum 10 years' experience in medical device development, ideally in cardiovascular or interventional cardiology.
\
* Proven track record in program management within a regulated environment.
\
* Strong organisational and project execution skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
\
* Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, start-up style environment.
\
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
\
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and solution-driven approach.
\
* Understanding of quality systems and regulatory frameworks.
\
