Occupational Health Nurse Role
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Health Nurse to join our team. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive health services to employees in a variety of settings.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Case management: Develop and implement case plans to ensure employee return to work.
* Workplace assessment: Conduct regular assessments to identify potential health hazards and recommend control measures.
* Health surveillance: Monitor employee health and provide education on workplace safety practices.
* Identifying and preventing work-related health problems: Collaborate with employees, supervisors, and other healthcare professionals to identify and prevent work-related health issues.
* Workforce and workplace monitoring and health needs assessments: Conduct regular assessments to identify workforce and workplace health needs and develop strategies to address them.
* Health promotion: Develop and implement programs to promote employee health and well-being.
* Education and training: Provide education and training to employees on workplace safety practices and healthy habits.
* Risk assessment and risk management: Identify and assess risks to employee health and develop strategies to mitigate them.
* Return to work management: Develop and implement return to work plans to ensure employee safe return to work.
Requirements
* Hold a general Nurse qualification.
* Hold full An Bord Altranais registration.
* Hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Health or be studying same.
* Have some experience of working in a similar role.
