Biomechanics Expert
We are seeking an accomplished Biomechanics Expert to lead our product safety and performance testing initiatives.
* Prepare specifications for complex product safety and performance testing, including the creation of test plans and protocols.
* Develop project plans for product safety and performance tests and campaigns.
* Execute product safety and performance tests, documenting results in detailed reports.
* Assess results using analytical and statistical methods according to pre-existing guidelines.
* Calculate loads acting on the human body for simulations and calculations of implant loading and mechanical test set-ups.
* Manage external test projects, including sterilizations validations, cleaning validations, biocompatibility testing, and electromagnetic testing.
* Communicate and discuss test and analysis results with product development teams.
* Consult with development engineers on biomechanical questions.
* Develop and implement new guidelines (standard operating procedures).
* Share best practices and methodologies across sites with subject matter experts.
* Oversee international standardisation requirements and implement them into guidelines.
* Lead technicians, specialists, and project engineers in the field of Biomechanics.
