We are seeking a Full-Time Early Years Practitioner to join our passionate team. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for children. If you are dedicated to the well-being and development of children and hold a minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in childcare or its equivalent, we encourage you to apply. Level 7/8 desirable.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities:
Child-Centric Care:
* Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
* Encourage active learning through age-appropriate activities.
* Observe and record children's development and behaviour, and share insights with parents or guardians.
Collaborative Teamwork:
* Work effectively as part of a dedicated childcare team.
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement educational programs.
* Share knowledge and ideas to enhance the overall childcare experience.
Curriculum Implementation:
* Utilize Aistear and Siolta frameworks to guide curriculum planning.
* Design and execute educational activities that align with developmental milestones.
* Foster creativity, curiosity, and social interaction among children.
Professional Development:
* Stay updated on industry best practices and childcare trends.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our childcare services.
Qualifications:
* Minimum QQI Level 6 in childcare or equivalent qualification.
* Working knowledge of Aistear and Siolta frameworks.
* Passion for child development and early education.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
