Position Title: IT Manufacturing Professional - Logistics/Supply Chain
Reporting To: Senior Director - Manufacturing & Quality IT
Lilly is constructing a Next Generation Biotech Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility in Limerick, Ireland. This facility will be Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing site, featuring next-generation manufacturing technologies and advanced data collection and analysis platforms to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and process performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Logistics/Supply Chain IT Professional, you will support Lilly’s manufacturing site logistics flow—from inbound to outbound, supplying materials to the shop floor, and storing materials in warehouses. The warehouse management system (eWM) will be highly integrated with automated equipment, such as automated warehouses (ASRS) and manufacturing execution systems (MES). Your scope will include solutions beyond eWM, like scheduling systems and data analytics.
How You’ll Succeed
* Understand how logistics applications and tools integrate with other critical systems like MES and Process Automation.
* Support the implementation of SAP eWM, becoming an expert in its technology and integration with other SAP Supply Chain modules.
* Learn logistics business processes, scheduling, applications, and tools.
* Stay forward-thinking regarding technological evolutions in the Supply Chain landscape to improve user experience and functionality.
* Participate in projects, evaluate business impact, and recommend technical solutions.
* Support site implementation activities, system integration, and site preparation.
* Collaborate with site business areas, IT Architects, MES Architects, and Data Analytics Architects to implement Next Gen Warehouse solutions.
* Coordinate with Global Services and Infrastructure teams to support infrastructure delivery.
* Address cross-organizational issues with business areas.
* Promote process improvements and innovation for business optimization.
* Adhere to corporate validation policies and procedures.
Ability

Basic Qualifications
* At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated industries.
* Experience with integrated logistics in manufacturing, including SAP and MES systems.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
* Project management and leadership skills.
