Operations Director/GM - Europe
An industry-leading automation company is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee operations across its European sites.
This role is based in Cork, Ireland and requires some travel to another site in Ireland and mainland Europe.
About the Role
We are looking for a strategic leader who can drive operational excellence, optimize production capacity, and ensure top-tier quality.
You will work closely with senior management to develop long-term strategies while managing key functions such as engineering, supply chain, assembly, and continuous improvement.
Budget planning, risk mitigation, and performance optimization are key parts of this role.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate has 10-15+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, strong commercial awareness, and a track record of improving efficiency and productivity.
Exceptional leadership, change management, and project management skills (Agile, Lean, Six Sigma) are essential. You should be comfortable traveling regularly and leading multi-site operations.
