Senior Finance Officer Job Description
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting strategic financial planning, working with a high-performing team, and contributing to the overall financial health and governance of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work alongside senior management to ensure the effective day-to-day operations of the finance function.
2. Adhere to Financial Governance & regulations and internal policy and procedures.
3. Prepare daily End of Day office routines and reconciliations.
4. Monthly review and sign off of bank and cash reconciliations.
5. Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register.
6. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
8. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial projections, and reports.
9. Facilitate interim and annual audit.
Requirements
Qualified Accountant with minimum 3 years experience in accountancy practice or a financial management role, ideally in a regulated environment.
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
A proactive, detail-orientated, and collaborative approach.
High standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
