Contract Management Role
The Contract Manager oversees contract operations to ensure effective administration.
* Analyzes general contract terms and conditions to identify potential risks, recommending mitigation strategies and closely monitoring remedial actions.
* Manages the pre-award process through Bid, Evaluate and Award.
* Develops bid tabulations, bidder recommendations, and selection of bidders within delegated authority.
* Establishes mechanisms to monitor compliance with contract terms and conditions.
* Collaborates with project team members to identify contract-related actions or inactions that may result in constructive changes, providing recommendations for resolution.
* Develops and manages procedures to recognize and resolve contract claims as they develop, obtaining necessary expertise as required.
* Provides site managers with regular reviews and analysis of contract financial data.
* Ensures adherence to contract insurance provisions and implements requirements accordingly.
