Role Overview:
The IT & Networks Finance Manager will lead the team supporting our IT & Networks department, managing all aspects of finance including P&L, budgeting, and forecasts. You will act as a business partner to the IT & Networks division, supporting ad hoc projects and financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate monthly management accounts, including P&L and headcount reports.
- Provide insights into actuals and forecast impacts.
- Support IT and Network Operations in achieving financial targets.
- Collaborate with teams to formulate forecasts and budgets, incorporating projects.
- Offer financial advice on projects as a Business Partner.
- Assist the CTO with financial matters related to IT and Network Operations.
- Calculate ROI for IT & Networks spending and integrate benefits into forecasts.
- Manage financial projects related to IT & Networks components.
- Oversee estate payments and IFRS 16 reporting, including head office accounting.
- Review and improve processes and procedures regularly.
- Ensure integration of financial systems with IT and Network Operations processes.
- Coordinate with auditors on IT & Network Finance matters.
- Support group financial reporting and ad hoc projects.
- Lead and develop a team to achieve key objectives.
- Provide technical accounting support to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant with experience in management reporting.
- Proven experience in budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate financial data effectively across all levels.
- Commercial awareness and technical accounting knowledge.
- Experience with mobile telecommunications networks is a plus.
