The role of a Cleaning Operative is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a high level of dedication, enthusiasm and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks.
You will use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health guidelines (COSH), and have full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents.
A successful candidate will also be expected to report immediately any faulty equipment, mark it as such and not use it until it has been repaired or replaced.
In addition, you will ensure that safety signage is used appropriately at all times, and that cleaning stores are kept clean and tidy, with equipment stored correctly and safely.
This role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
We are seeking an individual who is flexible, adaptable and able to demonstrate great teamwork skills, with basic statutory training requirements including reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day-to-day basis.
The ideal candidate will be eligible to work in the EU/EEA, have experience working in a similar role and possess good communication skills - written and verbal.
