Hours: 7 × 12 hour shifts over a 14-day period

Purpose of the Role
The primary objective of this post is to provide care and support through a person-centred approach that meets the practical, physical and emotional needs of service users with Intellectual Disability/ABI/Autism.
The Team Lead coordinates shifts, supervises staff, works collaboratively with the MDT, reports to the Person In-Charge, and may deputise for the Person In-Charge if necessary.
Role Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Level 5 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications in Social Care, Social Work, Youth Work, Teaching, Nursing, Childcare with Disability modules (or other relevant discipline/qualification)
Minimum 3 years' experience working in a residential, respite or day service setting with people with an intellectual disability
Desirable Experience
Experience of managing a team
