About The Role
Emerald Locums are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join a Children's Services team based in Bray, Wicklow. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children and families, supporting their communication and feeding needs within a supportive and multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for children presenting with a range of communication and feeding/swallowing (FEDS) difficulties.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
* Provide guidance, training, and support to families, caregivers, and educational staff to ensure the best outcomes for children.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Social Workers.
* Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed clinical records in line with professional and HSE standards.
* Participate in service development initiatives, audits, and continuous professional development.
Requirements
* CORU registration as a Speech & Language Therapist (essential).
* Recognised degree in Speech & Language Therapy.
* Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience working with children.
* Demonstrated expertise in Feeding, Eating, Drinking and Swallowing (FEDS).
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
