CAD Technician Job Description
The CAD Technician will work under the direction of the Design Office Manager to draw and detail concrete structures using Allplan software.
They will liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure completeness of information and reflect changes in the manufacturing process.
The successful candidate will thoroughly check drawings prior to issue for approval and manufacture.
A good understanding of Auto-CAD and experience in drawing reinforced concrete structures would be beneficial.
Familiarity with Revit or similar BIM style 3D modeling packages would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate should be diligent and thorough in their role to ensure all panels sent for manufacture are correct.
