Electrical Site Manager Athlone Site Based Role An experienced Electrical Site Manager is required to join a major energy project located in Athlone. This role involves leading the delivery of an electrical package overseeing a large on-site team and managing subcontractor performance and progress. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience from large-scale projects, possess excellent organisational skills, and ensure project delivery aligns with health, safety, quality, and schedule requirements. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily site operations and coordinate tasks across the electrical scope of works. Maintain control of project progress, ensuring timely execution against programme milestones. Ensure materials and equipment delivered to site align with specifications and project standards. Monitor and enforce high-quality workmanship throughout the build. Manage subcontractors activities and performance, including monitoring schedule adherence and raising any issues that impact project delivery. Lead subcontractor meetings, and actively participate in short-term planning/look-ahead sessions. Liaise with Health & Safety personnel to guarantee compliance with all safety protocols and RAMS. Maintain tidy site practices, ensuring proper material storage, daily SPA completion, and contributing to toolbox talks and whiteboard meetings. Engage with the client and other project teams to support effective delivery and handover. Identify and report delays, changes, or risks to senior management promptly. Report directly to the Contracts Manager, providing updates on site status and progress. Requirements: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with fluent spoken and written English. Trade background or qualification in electrical or construction-related discipline. Minimum of 2 years experience managing electrical works on large-scale construction or industrial projects. Strong planning, coordination, and team leadership abilities. Proven ability to manage subcontractors and large site teams in a fast-paced environment.
