Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist – Long-Term ContractLocation:Dublin, Ireland (3 days onsite per week)Contract Type:Long-term contract with a leading public sector clientAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experiencedICT Quality Assurance (QA) Specialistto join one of our key public sector clients in Dublin. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality ICT solutions by providing proactive, effective, and efficient QA services. You will work closely with project delivery teams, third-party suppliers, and stakeholders to plan, implement, and test ICT solutions aligned with business requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and execute test strategies, plans, and scripts .Provide test estimates, schedules, and detailed reporting.Document and execute test cases, including UAT design and support .Lead and participate in defect triage discussions, tracking issues through to closure.Carry out regression, migration, and system integration testing .Own requirements traceability for both functional and non-functional testing.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality software delivery.Contribute to continuous improvement in QA practices.Essential Skills & Experience:Minimum5 years' experience in Software TestingStrongcommunication, documentation, and interpersonal skillsExperience withwebsite development projectsand working withthird-party suppliersHands-on experience withAgile methodologiesand tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)Strongorganisational and time managementskillsProficiency inMicrosoft 365 Office SuiteAbility to document and executetest scriptseffectivelyRelevantprofessional qualification(minimum Level 6 under the QQI Framework)Desirable SkillsExperience withDynamics 365 CRMKnowledge ofAutomation testing tools and frameworksExposure toperformance testingWhy Apply?Long-term contract with a reputable public sector clientOpportunity to contribute to impactful ICT projectsHybrid working modelIf you would like to discuss more, message me on LinkedIn or else get in touch with me on
