About the Role
The Business Development Manager will identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients. The role works closely with the sales and marketing teams to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
Key Duties
* Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales and revenue.
* Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients and key decision-makers.
* Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes.
* Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop marketing materials and campaigns.
* Attend conferences, trade shows, and other industry events to network and promote the company.
* Develop proposals, presentations, and contracts for potential clients.
* Track sales data and provide regular reports to senior management.
* Work closely with the product development team to understand products and provide feedback for improvement.
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
* Cold calls as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
* Plan approaches and pitches.
Professional experience and qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing.
* Proven track record of developing and closing business deals.
* Proven track record within B2B face-to-face sales.
* Sales experience within the construction industry desirable.
