Sanderson are partnering with a global, industry-leading multinational based in North Dublin is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join its expanding finance team.

About the Role The General Ledger Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.
Working within a collaborative finance team, you'll support both local and global stakeholders while benefiting from a flexible hybrid working structure.
Key Responsibilities Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Prepare and review financial reports in line with internal and external requirements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organisation.
Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor queries.
Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements within the finance function.
Use SAP for daily financial operations, reporting, and analysis.
About You The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multinational environment.
Requirements: Fully Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
Strong general ledger and financial accounting experience.
SAP experience is essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
