About the Role
Úna Bhán Tourism is recruiting a Community Rural Tourism Project Officer to join our dynamic team. This full‑time position (37.5 hours per week) is supported by the Department of Social Protection and funded by POBAL.
Rate: €14.15 per hour.
Responsibilities
Research, develop and facilitate training workshops for tourism providers, artisan food producers and craft makers.
Identify relevant funding opportunities and coordinate events to enhance the sustainability of the project.
Work independently while collaborating with the team across the three sectors of Úna Bhán.
Organise and run events in line with the ethos of Úna Bhán.
Essential Requirements
Experience in tourism and community development.
Fully computer literate, comfortable with social media and website management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Practical research and community initiative implementation experience.
Training delivery capabilities.
Clean driving licence and meet transport criteria.
Availability to work weekends and public holidays on a rota basis.
