This is a 6-month contract with potential conversion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing scalable, secure, and high-performance banking solutions, particularly in mobile banking and omni-channel platforms, while working closely with stakeholders in a multi-vendor environment.Key Responsibilities:Design and deliver end-to-end solution architecture for digital banking platforms.Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.Architect scalable microservices-based solutions using modern technologies.Ensure compliance with Open Banking standards and banking application security requirements.Design high-performance, highly available systems for financial applications.Collaborate with development teams using Java and React-based platforms.Work with Azure cloud architecture to build and deploy secure solutions.Create architectural diagrams using Draw.io, UML, and PlantUML.Provide technical leadership and support teams with hands-on coding when required.Engage with stakeholders across multiple vendors and business units to align on architecture and delivery.Required Skills & Experience:15+ years of overall IT experience.7+ years of experience working as a Solution Architect.Mandatory experience in Digital Banking solutions.Experience designing Mobile Banking and Omni-channel platforms.Strong understanding of Microservices architecture.Hands-on experience with Java and React technologies.Expertise in architecture design patterns and system design.Experience with Open Banking frameworks and banking security standards.Strong experience with Microsoft Azure architecture.Proficiency in HLD/LLD creation and architectural documentation.Experience with Draw.io, UML, and PlantUML.Ability to contribute to hands-on coding when required.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Additional Requirements:Must be able to work onsite in Dublin 2–3 days per week.Candidates must currently be based in Dublin.
