About the Role
The Content and Copy Specialist is responsible for creating clear, accurate, and engaging content that supports Flogas' brand, customer experience, and commercial objectives. This role ensures all written communications, from customer emails and website content to campaigns, onboarding journeys, and service updates are consistent, customer‑focused, compliant, and aligned to Flogas' tone of voice. Operating within a regulated environment, the role plays a critical part in ensuring customers receive transparent, accessible, and easy‑to‑understand information that builds trust, improves engagement, and supports positive customer outcomes across all channels. The successful candidate will work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Customer Service, Digital, Product, and Compliance teams to deliver high‑quality communications that enhance the customer experience while maintaining brand consistency and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Storytelling
Develop and embed a clear and consistent storytelling approach across the business, aligned to brand and commercial priorities. Shape how Flogas communicates across different audiences, ensuring messaging is relevant, engaging and easy to understand. Translate complex products, services and market topics into clear, compelling narratives. Define tone of voice and messaging frameworks across residential & B2B audiences.
Content Creation Across Channels
Create high‑quality written content across all key touchpoints, including: Website and landing pages, Customer communications and lifecycle messaging, Social media content, including LinkedIn, Campaign messaging and digital advertising, Commercial and Operational communications, HR and internal initiatives. Ensure all content reflects a consistent voice and strong narrative across channels.
Digital, Social & Channel Content
Own copy & content creation across key digital channels, including website, social media and customer communications. Lead content planning and delivery for LinkedIn, ensuring a strong & consistent external voice. Support development of engaging social content aligned to brand and business priorities. Work closely with Digital teams to improve content performance, engagement and conversion. Customer Communications & Self‑Service.
Customer Communications & Self‑Service
Develop clear, consistent and easy‑to‑understand customer communications that support self‑service and reduce friction across key journeys. Create FAQs, how‑to guides and support content that enable customers to quickly find answers. Identify common customer queries & pain points, and proactively address through content. Support onboarding, retention and lifecycle comms across both B2B and residential audiences. Ensure all customer‑facing content is clear, relevant and aligned to customer needs.
Brand Voice & Content Governance
Act as the guardian of tone of voice across the organisation. Ensure all content aligns with brand, legal and regulatory requirements. Review and refine content across the business to improve clarity, consistency and quality. Maintain content standards and guidelines across all touchpoints.
Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with Marketing, Digital & Commercial teams to deliver content aligned to priorities. Support campaign development from concept through to execution. Collaborate with design and digital teams to ensure alignment between content and creative. Manage multiple content streams and deadlines while maintaining high standards.

Candidate Profile
We are seeking an experienced and creative content professional with 5+ years' experience in copywriting, content, brand, or communications roles, either agency‑side or in‑house. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing compelling, on‑brand content across multiple channels including digital, social, CRM, web, and marketing campaigns. They will bring strong expertise in content strategy development, editorial planning, tone of voice management, and brand storytelling, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging, and customer‑focused communications. A strong understanding of SEO best practices and digital content performance is essential, alongside experience collaborating with design, digital, marketing, and cross‑functional business teams to deliver integrated campaigns and customer communications. Experience within regulated industries such as utilities, energy, or financial services would be advantageous, as would a background in journalism, editorial, or professional content creation. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional written communication skills, attention to detail, commercial awareness, accountability, collaboration, and a strong customer focus, combined with a mindset of curiosity and continuous improvement. A master's degree in Marketing, Digital, Business, or a related discipline is desirable.
