Overview PM Group is an international project delivery company operating across Europe, the USA and Asia. We provide project management, process design, facility design, construction management, and commissioning and qualification services for our leading multinational clients. In addition to managing large-scale one-off projects, at PM Group we also provide a Managed Service for capital projects to a growing number of clients. Our site-based Managed Service teams across Ireland provide a cost efficient and effective framework for project delivery to our clients. We take projects ranging in capital value from €100k to €15M from concept through all stages of the project life-cycle to handover. At present, we are looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor who enjoys managing multiple complex projects simultaneously to join our large, multi-disciplined site-based team near Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. You will support our project managers on numerous Capital Projects with responsibility for the timely and accurate commercial control and associated reporting of Project costs. This role offers a flexible working arrangement incorporating a mix of site and home working. Responsibilities Cost Reporting of capital expenditure projects (equipment & construction) including PM Group fees and sub-consultants Estimating lead, checking and reviewing of multiple estimates in accordance with PMG procedures Management of our Change Control procedures and tools and associated deliverables Contracts administration of site-based Trade Contractors including payment applications, claims, change management (SWI's, SVO's), remeasures etc. over numerous live projects Distribute and track invoices to various Project owners / leads across multiple projects for approval Perform Supplier account reconciliations and work with Purchasing Team and Suppliers to resolve any issues Responds to and resolve enquiries from Suppliers, Procurement, and Finance departments including monthly accruals in a professional and timely manner Support quarterly sponsor meetings and reporting Take ownership of designated tasks and projects as assigned Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role Ability to regularly interact with staff, management and clients to provide or obtain related information Strong Mechanical and Electrical background is preferable Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and confidentiality An organised self-starter who is attentive to detail and able to work independently Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks, likely with competing priorities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Qualifications (preferable but not essential) BSc Quantity Surveying Why PM Group?
