A day in the life…
* Provide full grooming services to a range of breeds - bathing, drying, nail clipping, brushing, combing, breed clipping
* Provide a positive and memorable grooming experience for all customers and their dogs
* Coordinate the grooming salon and clients in conjunction with the Store Manager
* Make client bookings
* Assist store shop floor team when required
* Stock management
* Work with Store Manager & team to meet member program targets and expectations
* Support local marketing opportunities and recruitment referral programs
* Work with the team to achieve and exceed sales targets
* Maintain a strong safety mindset and foster a culture of safety within your team
What We Need…
* Experience in professional dog grooming
* Qualification in Grooming preferred but not essential
* Ability to implement strong safety practices across the salon and store
* Good knowledge of breed-specific clips
* Physically fit, as lifting heavy animals may be required
* Experience handling and working with live animals
* Maintain breed clip and product knowledge
* Understanding of zoonotic and skin diseases and how to identify them
* Flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions
* Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities
* Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
* Commitment to representing Petstock positively in all areas
* Strong interpersonal skills to build customer and team relationships
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
