Senior Automation Business Analyst
Senior Automation Business Analyst – this role leads an agile team of Business Analysts, focusing on building and delivering robust automations across technologies such as RPA, NLP, Gen AI, and more.
The aim is to radically improve how our teams operate, delivering faster, more efficient, and higher quality processes to our customers.
Responsibilities
Support project prioritization.
Manage, coach, and mentor a small team of junior Business Analysts.
Lead or participate in workshops to define and design automation solutions.
Create and maintain standardized documentation for process requirements and flows before and after automation.
Keep stakeholders informed of development status, requirements, and scope.
Lead or participate in problem identification and error resolution processes.
Participate in sign-off approvals by business and/or technical staff to certify successful results of milestone deliverables or phase completion.
Follow project governance and maintain relevant reporting for automated solutions.
Liaise with process owners to raise operational improvements and brainstorm automation ideas.
Oversee continuous improvement and optimization of automated processes.
Conduct performance evaluations and mentor developers through formal and informal channels.
Offer support to the Developer Lead and Maintenance Lead and collaborate to continuously improve delivery.
Qualifications
University degree.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a drive for simplicity and clarity.
Excellent organizational skills and time management.
Strong analytical mindset with deep understanding of business processes.
Ability to manage and adapt to changing circumstances while working under pressure.
Resilient, able to push forward when challenges arise.
Understanding of business structures and the people/teams necessary to achieve results.
Extensive knowledge of operational tools, processes, and stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Highly adaptive to changes and stressful situations.
Detail-oriented and thorough with excellent time management skills.
People-oriented, capable of providing support, coaching, and mentoring.
